Carson Palmer returning from knee surgery

Carson Palmer, all eyes are on you as you make your season debut on ESPN Monday Night football August 28, 2006 at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati.

I am proud to say I have tickets for Carson's return game against the Packers. No doubt, chills will be sent up the spine as Carson takes the field. I am getting hype just thinking about this moment and what it means to Bengal fans.

Bengal's fans have not had much to cheer about before Carson Palmer since the 1980's, it has been hard. Palmer however, is the type of quarterback you love to have as a franchise QB. If he stays healthy this year, watch out, we will have fun in Cincinnati. If he gets hurt, well, Anthony Wright as well as Doug Johnson have looked great in the first 2 preseason games but I do not even want to think about that. The Bengal's season rest on the comeback of Carson Palmer.

Prediction: I look for Carson Palmer to start opening day. I feel it is in the Bengal's best interest to run Rudi Johnson allot the first few games. Just get Carson back in routine and feeling comfortable with a live defense in front of him ready to hit him. With the schedule the Bengal's have, it will be hard to make it back to the playoffs. I feel Carson will be healthy and lead the Bengal's to the Super Bowl this season. It should be a fun year to be a Cincy Bengal's fan!
